Angelus by Mitch Allan

Angelus Blurb W.I.P

Science fiction/fantasy set roughly 100 years in the future. Mankind has separated onto two planets with a space colony between. Races became intermingled, and unethical experimentation on humans began in secret on the colony. In the year 2107 the first alien breach caused havoc on Earth, wiping out a large proportion of the population. Since then, the defence force Wormwood was established on the colony, dedicated to fighting the alien threat.

The second breach, four years later, was on the colony, massively reducing the population.

The novel's prologue takes place during the third breach, on the man-made planet Tellus – introducing us to our characters.

Four years later, and the fourth breach is imminent. Lieutenant Erin Kastoria is searching for the connection between her and a mysterious weapon, whilst her friend Ryan grows increasingly concerned for her mental stability. With rumours of 'the Angelus', the device capable of defeating the aliens, and secrets within Kastoria's team threatening to break it apart – the survival of humankind seems bleak.

So, it's a novel?

Angelus is indeed a novel written by Mitch Allan in the month of [NaNoWriMo] (November 2008). It has since been through many edits and is still in the editing stage; the third draft. Therefore the novel is not yet published, but with some persuasion, the project to turn the third draft into an ametuer audio book in well under way.
